Hello,

My name is Briana Daley, and I am the oldest of seven, and so it is not everyday that I am able to speak first. I am a freshman at Fenwick High School and also honored to be the recipient of the 2010-2011 John J. Crowder Scholarship. Thank you to all of you here for coming to this fundraiser to assist students like myself to attend such a great Catholic Dominican High School, Fenwick. Thank you especially to the scholarship board of directors, Mr. Jim Crowder, Mr. Tim Carey, Mr. Mike Mulvihill, Mr. Mike Lats, Mr. Patrick Muldowney, Mr. Mike Burns, and Mrs. Judy Mangos. Another person who I am deeply indebted to here today is Ft. Kevin O’Rourke, a Dominican and Fenwick Friar, who was determined to make sure that I went to Fenwick. I have had a great experience at Fenwick this year. I ran cross country in fall, indoor track during the winder, and I am now participating in outdoor track. I play the flute in the concert band at school ad next year, I will be participating in the Wind Ensemble. I made first honors first semester and hope to do the same this semester. Thank you for your time and all that you do to support the John Crowder Scholarship.
